Blood Orange Recipes

Mulled Wine With A Cheeky Gin Twist

SERVINGS: 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 200ml of Brown Brothers Cienna
  • 30ml of GinFusion Blood Orange
  • 1 whole clove
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • Citrus and/or apple slices

METHOD

  • In a large saucepan, combine everything together. Give it a quick stir to make sure it’s well mixed.
  • Warm the mixture over medium-high heat until it’s almost simmering. Be careful not to let it bubble - too much heat will burn off the alcohol.
  • Once it’s simmering gently, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Strain using a fine-mesh strainer. Serve warm in a mug and enjoy!
